Fireware 12.7.1 jetzt verfügbar

Seit Kurzem verfügbar: Fireware 12.7.1 und WatchGuard System Manager 12.7.1

Fireware v12.7.1 ist ein Maintenance Release Update mit einigen neuen Features und Verbesserungen. Im Folgenden finden Sie eine kurze Aufstellung der wichtigsten neuen und geänderten Features. Wichtig:
Fireware v12.7.1 wird nur von den folgenden Geräten unterstützt: Firebox T20, T40, T55, T70, T80, M270, M370, M400, M440, M470, M500, M570, M670, M4600, M5600, M4800, M5800 sowie alle FireboxV und Firebox Cloud Modelle.
Für alle anderen Modelle gibt es das Software Release >> Fireware v12.5.8.

Download der Software aus dem WatchGuard Support Center:

• im WatchGuard Support Center das entsprechende Modell auswählen um anschließend die gewünschte Fireware downloaden zu können

Im Folgenden ein Auszug der Neuerungen aus der Originalmeldung von WatchGuard::

• AuthPoint Authentication Server Support for Azure AD Users: The AuthPoint authentication server on the Firebox now supports Azure Active Directory users for Mobile VPN with SSL, Mobile VPN with IKEv2, and the Firebox Authentication Portal.

• Firebox T80 LTE Interface Module: Fireware v12.7.1 adds support for a new LTE Interface module for the Firebox T80 that enables you to install a SIM card and use the cellular connection as an external interface on the Firebox. LTE wireless networks offer multi-gigabit per second (Gbps) connectivity and can supplement the wired Internet connections provided by local Internet service providers.

• WatchGuard Cloud Features for Fireboxes:

  • FireCluster System Actions — In WatchGuard Cloud, you can now upgrade, reboot, and fail over your locally-managed FireCluster.
  • Cloud Management for FireboxV and Firebox Cloud — In WatchGuard Cloud, you can now manage the configuration for cloud-managed FireboxV and Firebox Cloud devices.
  • WatchGuard Cloud Connection Status — To help identify the cause of connection issues between a cloud-managed Firebox and WatchGuard Cloud, the Fireware Web UI > Information page now indicates when there is a connection issue and the reason. 

• Post-NAT IP Addresses in NetFlow: IP addresses for NAT and NAT-T (NAT traversal) events now appear in NetFlow records if you select V9 in the Firebox NetFlow configuration.

• RADIUS Enhancements: The shared secret for RADIUS servers can now include up to 256 characters.
