Wie bereits in einem vorherigen Artikel<\/a> angek\u00fcndigt ist das Update von einer Fireware 11.x Version auf eine 12.x Version zwingend erforderlich.<\/p>\n

WatchGuard macht gerade darauf aufmerksam, dass das Benutzen einer 11.x Version das Risiko erh\u00f6ht von einem bekannten Virus betroffen zu werden.
\nGrund: Seit Juli gibt es keine weiteren Updates mehr f\u00fcr AV-Signaturen.<\/p>\n

Sollten Sie also aktuell noch eine 11.x Version benutzen bzw. eine „WatchGuard Support Alert“ Email wie sie im folgenden zu sehen ist bekommen haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen dringend ein Update auf Version 12.x durchzuf\u00fchren bzw. den Anweisungen in der Mail zu folgen.<\/p>\n

Our records indicate that your WatchGuard appliances with the following serial numbers are running an older version of Fireware OS and GAV enabled.

Unfortunately, remaining on 11.x versions of Fireware increases your risk of infection from known viruses since new signature updates are no longer provided for these devices after June. We strongly urge you to upgrade to Fireware 12.x in order to continue to protect your network with GAV service.
