Um einen besseren Service und Support anzubieten werden nun neue regionale Instanzen eingerichtet: Europa (EMEA) und Asien-Pazifik (APAC).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die meisten Wi-Fi Cloud Nutzer wird es nur eine 20 min\u00fctige Management-St\u00f6rung\u00a0 geben, w\u00e4hrend deren Nutzer noch Zugang zu den Wi-Fi Ressourcen haben. F\u00fcr alle Captive Portal Nutzer wird in den 20 Minuten jedoch auch dieser Zugang ausfallen. WatchGuard plant alle Kunden 14 Tage, 7 Tage und 1 Tag vor der Migration per Mail zu informieren um sich auf den 20 min\u00fctigen Ausfall vorbereiten zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Migration findet in den n\u00e4chsten 2 Monaten statt, in denen WatchGuard die Termine f\u00fcr die jeweiligen Kunden festlegt und entsprechend per Mail informiert.<\/p>\n<p>anbei die Original-Meldung von WatchGuard:<\/p>\n<div id=\"z6pqT5RAP9w1ZblMxESXTkmT3W9kRH5fpoIBEatTOug=_162c241f640:1a7de87:7d6c1c1c_entryBody\" class=\"entryBody\" title=\"\">\n<div id=\"z6pqT5RAP9w1ZblMxESXTkmT3W9kRH5fpoIBEatTOug=_162c241f640:1a7de87:7d6c1c1c_entryContent\" class=\"content\">\n<blockquote>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"100%\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: large;\"><b><span style=\"color: red; font-family: Verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Wi-Fi Cloud Migration<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\n<div align=\"left\">\n<div>\n<div>Within the next 2-months, the Wi-Fi Cloud Team will be scheduling your regional relocation and notifying of you the date\/time that your account will be migrated to the new location. Unless you request to reschedule the migration date\/time within 7-days of the notification letter, your Wi-Fi Cloud account will be migrated to the new\u00a0region. During the migration, services dependent on Wi-Fi Cloud could be disrupted for approximately 20-minutes.<\/div>\n<div><b style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;\">IMPACT of the regional relocation process:<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The Captive Portal\/splash page used to authenticate users on a guest network will be unavailable during the 20-minute maintenance period:\n<ul>\n<li>New users cannot access the guest network<\/li>\n<li>Users who are already on the guest network will continue to have access unless they need to reauthenticate; at that point they will not be able to get access to the network until the migration is complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The ability to log in to WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud to modify configurations or access reports and log messages will not be available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>POST migration, you can expect:<\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Faster connections with Wi-Fi Cloud, including faster response times<\/li>\n<li>Future maintenance windows will be scheduled outside of normal business hours in your region to minimize impact to you and your customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>As a Captive Portal user, once the Wi-Fi Cloud Team assigns your account with the specific date\/time for your migration, you will receive a notification with the date\/time 14-days in advance of the migration.
