{"id":3690,"date":"2018-01-26T07:15:58","date_gmt":"2018-01-26T06:15:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boc.de\/watchguard-info-portal\/?p=3690"},"modified":"2018-01-26T09:50:54","modified_gmt":"2018-01-26T08:50:54","slug":"vorsicht-bei-fireware-12-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.boc.de\/watchguard-info-portal\/2018\/01\/vorsicht-bei-fireware-12-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Vorsicht bei Fireware 12.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bei Support-Eins\u00e4tzen kommen nun leider vermehrt einige seltsame Verhaltensweisen zutage.<\/p>\n<p>Derzeit scheint es Probleme zu geben mit<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HTTP-Proxy in Verbindung mit PPPoE-Leitungen (m\u00f6glicherweise MTU Aushandlungsproblem)<\/li>\n<li>DNS-Requests von der Firewall selbst, die in MultiWAN-Umgebungen unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen auf der falschen Leitung gesendet werden<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wir raten daher zum derzeitigen Stand vom Einsatz der 12.1 ab.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warum wird das erst jetzt sichtbar?<\/p>\n<p>Fireware 12.1 wurde Mitte Dezember ver\u00f6ffentlicht (kurz vor Weihnachten). Der typische Administrator spielt Feature-Updates nicht kurz vor Weihnachten ein, so da\u00df sich etwa folgendes Schema etabliert haben k\u00f6nnte: nach den Weihnachtsferien (also je nach Bundesland nach Dreik\u00f6nig oder nochmal eine Woche sp\u00e4ter) wird zun\u00e4chst der w\u00e4hrend der freien Tage angesammelte Stapel durchgesehen und ggf. abgearbeitet und danach wird das Feature-Update eingespielt.
