AVG wird durch Bitdefender ersetzt.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ACHTUNG:<\/strong> das <strong>Tauschen der Antivirus-Engine bedingt<\/strong>, da\u00df beim Upgrade nicht nur ein Reboot notwendig wird, sonder auch, da\u00df zun\u00e4chst die <strong>neue AV Engine und das Pattern<\/strong> File heruntergeladen werden mu\u00df. Dies erzeugt eine <strong>zus\u00e4tzliche &#8220;Down-Time&#8221; von wenigen Minuten<\/strong>, da alle Proxies, die den Virenscanner verwenden, in dieser Zeit nicht funktionieren k\u00f6nnen. <strong>Der Update-Zeitpunkt sollte daher auf Produktivsystemen in eher unkritische Zeiten verlegt werden<\/strong> &#8211; denn diese &#8220;proxy-Downtime&#8221; <strong>betrifft auch Cluster-Setups.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>APT-Blocker im SMTP-Proxy wartet auf Antwort der Cloud, bevor die Dateien durchgereicht werden. This feature release introduces many new features and feature enhancements, including:<\/p>\n<p><b>Improved Malware Detection<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li value=\"1\"><strong>New Gateway AntiVirus Engine. Bitdefender, replaces AVG<\/strong>. This brings improvements to the product that include:\n<ul>\n<li value=\"1\">More effective detection of a variety of different types of malware<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\">Faster scan times to improve traffic throughput<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">Lighter, more frequent incremental signature updates result in faster response times to new malware attacks, and for more robust FireCluster performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\"><strong>APT Blocker delays email (typically 1 to 3 minutes) until it gets a response back from the sandbox in the cloud<\/strong>, which prevents the delivery of zero-day malware infections through email.<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">APT Blocker scans JavaScript files that are sent through email, which stops a potential distribution channel for ransomware.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>VPN\u00a0Security Enhancements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li value=\"1\">VPN connections have stronger default cryptography settings for authentication and encryption.<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\"><strong>This release removes support for Mobile VPN\u00a0with PPTP<\/strong> because it is no longer considered to be a secure protocol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Support for More Advanced Networking Use Cases<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li value=\"1\"><strong>Host header redirection through our new Content Actions enables the routing of traffic to different IP addresses based on domains and URL paths<\/strong> included in the HTTP\u00a0request\u00a0<i>host header<\/i>. With host header redirection, you can host different server applications behind a single public IP address. It also enables SSL offload on the Firebox, removing the need to do decryption on servers and clients behind the firewall.<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\"><strong>Multicast traffic is supported.<\/strong> This enables the Firebox to work in environments where Multicast (PIM-SM) is used to deliver application traffic from one to many nodes.<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">Several enhancements for the Gateway Wireless Controller and Wireless access points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other New Features and Enhancements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li value=\"1\"><strong>New IMAP proxy<\/strong> enables inspection of IMAP\u00a0connections for email clients and servers in your network. <strong>Support for IMAP\u00a0over SSL will be available in a future release<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\">Updated AP firmware improves initial discovery and pairing time, provides rate shaping improvements, and updates terminology for consistency with the WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information on the feature updates and available bug fixes in this release, see the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchguard.com\/support\/release-notes\/fireware\/12\/en-US\/EN_ReleaseNotes_Fireware_12_0\/Content\/Fireware\/en-US\/resolved_issues.html\">Enhancements and Resolved Issues<\/a>\u00a0section.
