Wenn ein External Interface auf <strong>PPPoE<\/strong> eingestellt ist, kann \u00fcber <em>Network > Configuration > [External] > Configure > Advanced Properties<\/em> (Button ganz unten) ein <strong>t\u00e4glicher PPPoE Reconnect zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit<\/strong> ausgel\u00f6st werden.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_haYpXd-8uFA\/S3UjGkMcRsI\/AAAAAAAAAG8\/0pFoWIW9hcs\/s1600-h\/pppoe-reconnect.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 274px; height: 320px;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_haYpXd-8uFA\/S3UjGkMcRsI\/AAAAAAAAAG8\/0pFoWIW9hcs\/s320\/pppoe-reconnect.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5437290720821790402\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Legt man diesen Zeitpunkt in eine betriebsarme Zeit (Nacht), kann man bei sonst stabiler DSL-Verbindung dadurch verhindern, dass durch eine eventuell sonst tags\u00fcber erfolgende DSL-Zwangstrennung eine kurzzeitige Betriebsunterbrechung erfolgt.<br \/>In diesem Zusammenhang: auch bei dem Tarif <strong>T-DSL Business mit fester IP-Adresse<\/strong> erfolgt alle 24 Stunden eine Zwangstrennung. Bei der sofort danach erfolgenden Wieder-Einwahl wird lediglich nur wieder die gleiche IP-Adresse zugewiesen!<\/p>\n<p>Alternativ dazu gibt es auch die M\u00f6glichkeit, einen <strong>zeitgesteuerten Reboot der gesamten Firewall<\/strong> durchzuf\u00fchren &#8211; zum Beispiel einmal pro Woche. Dies ist interessant, weil dadurch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig wieder ein sauberer Ausgangszustand hergestellt wird und eventuelle Memory Leaks nicht dazu f\u00fchren, dass die Firebox nach sehr langen Laufzeiten ggfs. instabil wird.
