WatchGuard bietet bereits seit langer Zeit Proxies f\u00fcr die g\u00e4ngigen Mail-Protokolle POP3, IMAP und SMTP. Um mobile Ger\u00e4te m\u00f6glichst komfortabel in die Exchange Infrastruktur einzubetten, f\u00fchrt allerdings kaum ein Weg an ActiveSync oder MAPI vorbei. Der Zugriff via ActiveSync\/MAPI erfolgt via 443 und kann ebenfalls mittels Proxy abgesichert werden, welcher durch Whitelisting von Pfaden, GEO-Blocking, Domain-Pr\u00fcfung und IPS viele Sicherheitsfeatures erfolgreich umsetzen kann, siehe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boc.de\/watchguard-info-portal\/2023\/07\/howto-exchange-reverse-proxy-ohne-access-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&gt;&gt; Blog-Artikel<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seit der Firmware v12.5 bietet WatchGuard durch seine Portal-L\u00f6sung \u201eAccess Portal\u201c eine weitere M\u00f6glichkeit, einen Exchange hinter den in der Firebox integrierten Reverse-Proxy zu verstecken. Durch das Access Portal kann die WatchGuard nicht nur Pfade filtern, sondern auch eine Pre-Authentication f\u00fcr den Exchange erzwingen. Da die Authentifizierung erst gegen die WatchGuard stattfindet und im Anschluss der Traffic in Richtung Exchange weitergeleitet wird, ist der IIS des Mailservers nicht direkt aus dem Internet erreichbar!<\/p>\n<p>Durch eine Kombination mit AuthPoint kann \u00fcbrigens der Zugriff auf OWA oder ECP zus\u00e4tzlich \u00fcber einen zweiten Faktor effektiv abgesichert werden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Folgende Installationsanleitung zeigt eine Testumgebung. Vom Standard abweichende Konfigurationen Ihres Exchange, AD, \u2026 k\u00f6nnen hier leider nicht ber\u00fccksichtigt werden*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Voraussetzungen:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>WatchGuard T40, T80, M4800, M5800 mit Standard Support oder Firebox M-Series (au\u00dfer M200, M300) mit Total Security<\/li>\n<li>aktueller Exchange-Server &gt;= 2013 SP1 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boc.de\/watchguard-info-portal\/2020\/02\/kompatibilitaet-https-reverse-proxy-und-exchange-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&gt;&gt; Kompatibilit\u00e4tsmatrix<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>g\u00fcltiges Zertifikat (passendes SAN oder besser Wildcard)<\/li>\n<li>&lt;firma&gt;.de, &lt;mailserver&gt;.&lt;firma.de&gt;, autodiscover.&lt;firma.de&gt; und portal.&lt;firma.de&gt; existieren beim Domain-Hoster und zeigen auf die ext. Bei richtiger Konfiguration werden alle n\u00f6tigen Einstellungen via Autodiscover konfiguriert.<\/p>\n<h3>Fazit<\/h3>\n<p>F\u00fcr die Absicherung des Exchange-Servers via Access Portal sind einige Voraussetzungen zu erf\u00fcllen und Anpassungen vorzunehmen. Ist die Konfiguration umgesetzt und erfolgreich getestet, ist der Mail-Server von Extern nur noch via Proxies zu erreichen und man wird mit einem entsprechend hohem Schutzniveau belohnt.
