Vor einigen Jahren wurde bei Auslieferung von einigen WatchGuard-Modellen noch zwischen dem normalen &#8222;Fireware&#8220; Feature Set (ohne &#8222;Pro&#8220;) und dem &#8222;Fireware Pro&#8220; bzw &#8222;XTM Pro&#8220; Feature Set unterschieden. Im <strong>XTM Pro Feature Set<\/strong> sind\/waren zus\u00e4tzlich enthalten: <strong>Multi-WAN, Policy Based Routing, Dynamisches Routing, FireCluster<\/strong> und die Maximalzahl der f\u00fcr das jeweilige Modell vorgesehenen <strong>SSLVPN- bzw. L2TP-VPN-User<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Das XTM Pro Upgrade erm\u00f6glichte wesentlich h\u00f6here Firewall-Durchsatzraten und neue Features: <strong>VPN-Failover<\/strong> routet VPN-Tunnel automatisch \u00fcber eine zweite Internet-Verbindung, wenn die prim\u00e4re Internet-Anbindung versagt! Insgesamt k\u00f6nnen bis zu vier unterschiedliche WAN-Verbindungen angeschlossen werden. Mittels <strong>Policy Based Routing<\/strong> kann dann z.B. der allgemeine Web-Traffic (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP) \u00fcber einen kosteng\u00fcnstigen DSL- oder Kabelanschluss mit Flatrate gef\u00fchrt werden, wodurch sich der prim\u00e4re Internet-Anschluss &#8211; in der Regel eine qualitativ hochwertige Standleitung (ggfs. mit QoS [Quality of Service]) &#8211; vorrangig f\u00fcr VPN-Traffic und eingehenden E-Mail-Verkehr freihalten l\u00e4sst. Neu sind auch <strong>VLAN-Unterst\u00fctzung, Load-Balancing<\/strong>, sowie <strong>Bandbreitenbegrenzung<\/strong> und <strong>Zeitsteuerung<\/strong> f\u00fcr jede einzelne Firewall-Regel. Auch die Hardware-Hochverf\u00fcgbarkeit (High Availability) &#8211; also ein Firewall-Cluster aus zwei identischen Fireboxen &#8211; wurde verbessert.<\/p>\n<pre><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1468 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boc.de\/watchguard-info-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/emblem-imp.gif\" alt=\"emblem-imp\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" \/>Die <strong>XTM Pro Zusatzlizenz<\/strong> gibt es nur noch f\u00fcr die \u00e4lteren Modelle <strong>XTM 505\/510\/520\/530<\/strong>. Alle\u00a0neueren XTM-Modelle und die aktuellen Firebox-Modelle werden bereits ab Werk mit dem \"XTM Pro\" Feature Set ausgeliefert.
